Jane's Jottings

Issue 76 is out there at last!

Welcome back to Jane’s Journal. I am catching up, really I am. We have finally posted all the remaining issues of the current Stitch That and had a very good response as always. For those of you not already members of the CSG I thought you would like to see some this month’s features. Go to Join us

Paradise Flowers

Designed and stitched by Jacqueline Holdsworth and inspired by the wonderful illustrations in The Goodhart Samplers, we have made up the stitched pieces in to a needlebook and pinkeep. In Issue 76 of Stitch That we have included staged photography explaining the hemming techniques so you can complete your own versions. We have a materials pack available from CSG HQ (Member only) (Join us)

Below, you can see one of our Send for Projects – Dragonfly Garden Hussif – road tested by my linen class here at Pinks Barn, it has turned out really well. With these projects, it is getting the folding right as much as the stitching. Two of my class and yours truly had some of the stitching upside down! Go to Special Counted Projects

I am not sure if you all realise that we are sometimes invaded by  stitchers!  What is the name for a crowd of stitchers anyway? Last month we were visited here at Pinks Barn by 37 avid stitchers all from the USA – We have tea and scones and laughed alot! Thanks to Sue Greening Davis and her helpmate Sally- We will have a design  from Susan later in the year
