iStitch2 has landed

Screen 1

The opening screen of the new program

Hi Everyone,

I will be showing the new iStitch2 Design Program on Create and Craft next Tuesday at 1pm so you will be able to see it in all its glory.

We have been busy here in the background and are about to launch the new program,  the updated version of my Cross Stitch Design program.  I just know that you are going to love it!

Before the thousands  of you who already have my Istitch program -become annoyed please panic not!  You can update your program on the internet completely free of charge as from 12noon on Monday 2nd September! How clever is that………

New instant patterns

The new layout for the Instant Patterns

We have altered the way that the patterns open and made it easier for you to find motifs and templates. Ian has improved the auto-outline function and all the icons are easier to see and understand. As you can see from the image below the shade cards are worth having – more than £100.00 worth of shade cards alone.

Have fun with it – I am looking at it all day and much of the night! The only disadvantage as you then have to make time to stitch…..

Hi there, The answer is yes and no. The programmer will not create a program for the mac, but I use it on my Mac but run Parallel to do it

I will let Ian tell you….
Q: Why can’t I update my program
A: The reason is most likely due to you not having sufficient permission to update files. Exit the program and then click the icon with the RIGHT mouse button and choose “Run As Administrator” from the menu which pops up. This should allow you to update.

If you still have problems you can also try disabling the UAC (User Access Control) system in Windows 7. This is the feature which asks you about any update or program activation. A simple search on Google will provide details on how to do this. If you need the extra security you can re-enable it after updating.

It looks good and I am very interested. Are you able to export the completed patterns, to put them into PDF documents for a website?

Jame, I’m also curious if I can save this program in PDF format. Your iStitch program has been so helpful to me as I redesign some projects and create my own. Thank you.
