No broadband but a wonderful puppy!

dscn2074.JPG     dscn2059.JPG

I am afraid we are still without our broadband internet connection . The Phone Coop tell us it could be another 2 weeks! I have been tempted to cut my losses and run to another supplier but having invested this long, I want them to sort this out. As a result of this,I am keeping updates to the web site on the short side – it takes so long using a dial up connection. If when you phone we are engaged, it is either the dial up being used to answer your emails or Biggles has tahen the phone of the hook again! He is coming along well, not yet potty trained yet but such a brave and affectionate creature. We all love him. Bumble, our senior dog, is getting used to him and there is no doubt that the puppy worships him!

Bill and I spent today at the trade show in Birmingham looking for new products and meeting with our suppliers. I have ordered some really good scissors  from Italy and some beautiful linen from Zweigart – I will add the pictures as soon as I can.

To all our Members -We are going to be mailing your delayed Issue 74 at the end of the month and the CD Rom Book is also well on its way. We have persuaded Ethan, our graphics designer to include his picture in this issue of Stitch That as we thought you should see he is the real thing and is burning the midnight oil to complete these projects.

I have planned my linen classes here at Pinks Barn and will possibly add more dates when things settle down a little. Please go to Events and Classes for more details

Oh, dear, poor Jane. Not understanding the technology at all, but feeling lost without it, it must be zillion times worse for you trying to run your normal business. Hope you will get sorted out soon – well, not you actually, but your internet access.
See you at the Swindon Stitch.
Love, Brigitte

Oh Jane, he IS beautiful! And it’s so nice of you to share the pictures with us.

In fact you do a lot of good all round. I got home from work tonight rather out of sorts (everyone seems to be rather anxious and cross these days) and spent 15 minutes meandering around the CSG website and I feel all happy again! Just seeing all those scrummy patterns, and the beautiful fabrics, somehow puts things back in perspective. AND it makes me want to get dinner over with so I can go stitch :-))))

Best wishes to you and Bill,

Kathy

What a sweetie the new puppy is! Don’t worry about the late magazine – it will be even more welcome than usual, when it finally arrives. See you in April or even March if I can drag myself up to Olympia, but life before I retire (he he) is so complicated, I might not be able to. Take care, and a big hug to Bumble, to stop him getting jealous. Barbara
