Sorry I have been so quiet

Just a quick note to apologise for the lack of activity on the site over the past few weeks. I am afraid I lost my father recently and my mother is not sure which way is up, bless her!

The funeral was last Friday and I am sure he would have enjoyed it if he had seen it. Will be back in the saddle next week as Bill and I are goind away for a few days

Dear Jane,

Sorry to read about your sad news. It’s such an awful time. My father passed away 22years ago and I still miss him dreadfully. I hope, like me, you have wonderful memories that make you both laugh and cry at the same time. In time those memories do help. God bless you and Bill to get through these days.Hopefully I’ll see you in Ally Pally. There’s 55 of us coming up from South Wales this time !!!

Love and Best wishes
Sandra

Hello Jane
I’m so sorry to learn about the death of your father, and my Mum and I are keeping you and your family in our thoughts at this time.
I know that I’ve been rather quiet myself since the Strawberry and Champagne Weekend in Leeds at the end of June, but neither my Mum nor I have been very much under the weather (and what a lot we’ve had, too!), and I regret to say that I haven’t done much stitching at all. As for the projects started in Leeds, I haven’t touched them either. Hopefully, one day when I’m “up”, I’ll pick up my needle again, and get cracking.
Best wishes to you all
Hazel
