New Product in our Shop

Members must have received the latest copy of Stitch That with Jane Greenoff  yesterday and I am amazed at the number of requests for this product to go on line! I have taken a couple of days to add some of the new items to the shop pages! The Yellow Rose Tote bag is now available – go to Tools and accessories and then Bits & Bobs You will need to scroll down to almost the bottom of the page.

Issue 71 of Stitch That

Antique Flowers Pocket Sampler

Since my return from Bermuda, I have discovered  so much positive feedback about the Antique Flowers Pocket Sampler that we have decided to include it in this issue of Stitch That! I am very grateful to my Bermuda class members who pointed out the errors in the chart (in a positive good humoured way, I promise) so it should be a very straightforward project to stitch! There will be a materials pack for this project, but for CSG Members only.

As a result of this change of plan, I have today signed off the proofs of Stitch That Issue 71 so that we should noe be posting it on Thursday 12th June. I intend to take some photos of the envelope stuffing ceremony so that you can see what goes on!

As the much awaited trip to Bermuda is over, I have no further excuses to offer so must return to the real world and get back to work. Today, I am going to clear out the Studio and sort my threads and beads, prior to designing new ranges for the autumn, a bumper edition of Stitch That for September, and much more.

Packing for Bermuda

The Yellow Rose Tote Bag

Two Little Samplers

I had hoped to get the next copy of Stitch That to the printers before I left for the trip but that is looking unlikely at the moment. I will therefore be posting out Issue 71 about the 2nd week of June, a few days later than hoped. I will endeavour to include some pictures here of the envelope stuffing ceremony and you can see the new member of our team – the wonderful Sarah! More of that when I come back from this working trip to Bermuda!Well, someone has to do it……

I thought you would like to have a sneak preview of some of the projects in the next copy of Stitch That– the two little samplers above are worked on different fabric using a variety of stitches and the teddy is called Tealeaf.

The Yellow Rose Tote Bag may be worked as a picture or made in to the bag as illustrated above- Members will be able to send for the ready-made bag if preferred.
