The Wildflower Workbox

This gorgeous project is the main feature in your next CSG magazine- Itch to Stitch Issue 99 with a little more in Issue 100. Before any of you send me a short note, I have also planned lots of pure cross stitch in later issues of your magazine. This project was, of course, as a result of my trip to Norway with Arena travel in January and the fact that we visited the Hardanger area where this lovely technique is still so much part of everyday. I made my version of the box out of stiff card and covered it in silk fabric and then decorated the box with Hardanger embroidery and wild flower motifs which are worked in cross stitch. Each side panel of the box is different and I have to admit to being thrilled with the end result.

We have added a Materials pack to Member Treats on the web site -but you can, of course, use the charts and patterns to create your own version or just use the cross stitch flowers to make your own heirloom project.

Jane, that is absolutely gorgeous! It is by far (in my humble opinion) the best thing I have ever seen designed by anyone.

Would love to obtain a copy of the chart for this. I am in the USA. Beautiful. Could you tell me how I could obtain copies and the cost?
